A 'new' home page for the duration of a campaign

Hi,

I am building a new section/'hub' in my site for a specific campaign. So for the week that this goes live I would like it to be my homepage. That is, whenever anybody types www.mysite.com they get directed to www.mysite.com/hub.

I see I could do that Home > Navigation > URL.

BUT if I do that and then somebody wants to go to my original homepage after, then they will be redirected to www.mysite.com/hub.

Is there a way to get around this?

You can leave your existing home page and in the CMSSiteManager>Settings>Content>Web site content. In that section, make sure you have selected your site (upper left above navigation) and enter the default alias path and change that to "/hub". So now when anyone navigates to the root they will be sent to /hub. You might also want to set a redirect on the /Home page to navigate to /hub.
