Smart search results not displaying correctly

I have a smart search on my website however, my smart search results will often display the page name as "/", no description (even though there is content on the page) and the date will be 1/1/0001 12:00:00 AM. It does this for most pages but not all of them.

I've been fiddling with the search index but I cannot see what is going wrong. Has anyone seen this issue and know how to correct it?

Hello,

Can you verify in the document type properties:

CMS Site Manager -> Development -> Document types -> {Edit faulty document type}

That these fields fields are setup like this?

Search fields -> Title field: DocumentName

Fields -> Document name source field: <DocumentTypeName>

Please let me know what you find out.

Under "Search Fields" in the Document type edit, none of the check boxes were checked off. I've checked off the same ones as the "Page" document type and everything is now working. Thank you.
