My Profile webpart password with confirmation not hashed

Hello Kentico Support,

I am using My Profile webpart in the page which is for user who can edit their own profile including password.

I use password confirmation form control in the password field, the control is working fine.

But the password stored in the CMS_User table is not hashed..

When I did the same password setting in CMSSitemanager to specific user the password is hashed.

Can you explain or instruct me how to hash the password?

Hi,

I have tried to reproduce the issue, but my password was always saved in its hash form. Could you please tell me what hotfixes have you applied? I would like to try that on the same Kentico CMS hotfix version like you.

Also have you checked in CMS_User table column UserPasswordFormat? What is the value of that column?
