Access to path denied when cloning template used on website
Hi Im having trouble working out why an install Im working on doesnt allow me to clone an existing template which runs within a development area project (Id put a url if I could).

Im running 7.x navigate via Select top level page
Select "Properties -> Template -> Save as new template"

I receive error: Acces to the path is denied
"c:\inetpub\wwwroot\CLS\CMSVirtualFiles\Templates\Shared\name-given-to-new-template.ascx"

My gut reaction is there's a permissions error going on, but Im not sure how Id prove that issue.

What directories does a typical Kentico install have cause Im seeing:

CSSStylesheets
Layouts
Templates
Transformations
WebPartContainers
WebPartLayouts

are there other directories key to adjusting / setting up a website built in Kentico I should get the sysadmin to set viewable to me?

RE:Access to path denied when cloning template used on website
Hello,

How to set disk permissions is described in our documentation.
However, in the path I see the CMSVirtualFiles - this indicates that you are running on a pre-compiled project or maybe medium trust where the access to the disk is limited. In this case, you need to save the page template on the development/staging environment, save the virtual objects to disk again and deploy it to the live environment.
