Eliminate CMS Desk UI When viewing the site as a Global Admin
I have my site configured for Windows Authentication and need several employees to have Global Admin rights. However, when they open the site, the will either get a 'Close preview' bar at the top or they will see a little 'Edit Page' drop down at the top. I don't want this. I want their browsing experience to be identical to someone that has no rights to the CMSDesk or Site Manager. How can I make this work? Thanks - Gordie

RE:Eliminate CMS Desk UI When viewing the site as a Global Admin
Hello,

The On site editing was designed to have the real time preview without need going to CMS Desk and have the ability to edit the site. So, you need to disable the on-site editing feature.

As for the preview mode - I would recommend using different browser or clearing the browser cookies. In this case the CMS Desk was opened in the browser some time before or is open in a different tab - since the browsers are sharing the cookies, the view mode is set to "preview" or "edit" mode.
