Importing custom webpart
I do not have access to production server to modify code files or compile solution. So I cloned a webpart and then exported it. I modified the code file on my local server by editing code file only. Then I am compressing the folder using windows compression tool. Then I upload package to import utility but I m getting following error:

Error during temporary files creation. Original exception: [ImportProvider.CreateTemporaryFiles]: Data not found or the package is not a valid export package.

Does Kentico have any tool to create package, or how can I create package?

Hello,

How did you clone and export the Web part? If you are using the export module the file would have been compressed on export. Making changes directly to the export is not supported so you may have to import it into a local instance to make changes, then import back onto the server.
