Czech special characters wrong in font Cleargothic
Dear Kentico-Team,

my question is not specific for Kentico, although i'm currently working on a Kentico projekt with a czech version. In these project, we have to use the font "Cleargothic".

The problem is, that some special characters (e.g. bold characters in "dřevěné") are displayed not correct. The characters (e.g. "ř" or "ě") are shown in Arial or a similar font. "Normal" characters "r" or "e" are shown correct.

Do you know a correct version of this font or a similar font, which display special czech characteres well?

Sorry, i know, this problem is not kentico specific. But Kentico is a czech driven system and i'm sure, that you are czech language experts ;-)
Therefore i hope, to get some help for my problem.

Many thanks,
Albert

RE:Czech special characters wrong in font Cleargothic
Hello,

Yes, the Clear Gothic font doesn't contain all of czech characters. If you want you can look at following two similar fonts, which contain czech characters:

Hess Gothic Round

Logo Sans

Best regards,
Jan Hermann
