Would like to place a movie on my home-page.
What format is best to use, so that it will be shown both on computers and mobile divices.

I use v6.0.45 (SP1)

Hello.

Kentico CMS provides following web parts for video files:

Google video
Quick time (extensions: mov, mp4, mpg)
WMP video
YouTube video

You can also store video files in a Media library and play them via Media library web parts: http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/displaying_files_from_media_library_overview.htm
