unfortunatelly, this feature (multi-day and recurring events) is not yet implemented. There should be some slight improvements in Events/Booking system in the next version, but I cannot say if these features will be present.

In the meantime, you could add a custom field to Event(BookingEvent) document type with the ending time/date of the event in addition to the starting time that actually is there.
As for recurring events, you could use some custom field too, however, there is no easy way of altering all involved elements (i.e. Calendar webparts, Scheduler) to work with these custom fields.
