Document Types vs. Custom Tables
I'm planning to build a big news site (the old one contain 65,000 +) news.

after I read this article Kentico Document Types vs. Custom Tables

I want to ensure If I choose Kentico Content Type (for example Blog) to store all of these content will affect on my site performance ? , So I have to go to Custom tables ?,
Hence I'll loose a lot of blog features like comments and friendly URLs and more..

Hello,

Kentico can handle hundredrs of thousands blog posts. The performance can be worse than with custom tables but if you need the blog functionality, I would recommend you to use the document types and improve the performance with the caching options. However, -you can test both of scenarios with your data on the particular server.
