How to show an out page in the kentico frame
I want to add a link to one of my page, and show it in Kentico frame. I choose target to be _self, but it always comes out as a whole new page not under kentico frame. How to do it?

Hi Steven,

I am not entirely certain at what you are trying to achieve however when using frames and framesets you should set the target to be the name of the frame you wish to display the page in.

Therefore if it is a certain frame in CMSDesk or the template, find out what the name="" attribute value of the frame is by looking at the source code and then set your target="" attribute of your link to be that.

Hope that helps? If not post some more detail and i'll be happy to assist further or provide a code sample.

Best Wishes,
Luke

Hi,

Thanks Luke for your post. It's as you wrote.
Steven, if you still need help with your aim, please try to be more specific, e.g. what exactly do you mean by Kentico frame? Are you speaking about admin interface modal windows or frames in the CMSDesk, or you just want to include external page in an iframe?

Regards,
Zdenek
