Product not found issue
Hi everybody !

I'm building an e-commerce web site with Kentico, which is great by the way, but i'm facing a little problem.

I'm following this tutorial for adding products :

http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/ecommerceguide/index.html

The "Customizing the product fields" section.

When I add a product, it's correctly listed in my category. (I'm adding a laptop, when i list all laptots i can see my product in the list).

But when i go to te product page, i've got a "No products found" message.

Any idea ?

Ps : When i navigate to my Desk, and list all products via E-commerce ----> Products, it's there too.

Thanks, Benjamin.

RE:Product not found issue
Hello,

Could you please check, if the document type of your laptop is filled in the Document types property of a reapeater (or another web part), which displays content of your product?

RE:Product not found issue
Hi,

The "ProductList" WebPart is displaying my product when i'm on the laptops page.

But when i try to display the laptop itself, the "Product List" does'nt show anything ...

I followed your advice, an added a "ProductDataList" web part on my page, and it's displaying my product !!

What's the difference between those two ? Have i got to use ProductDataList instead of productList everywhere ?

Thanks for your help janh

RE:Product not found issue
Hello,

Regrettably, we don't have any web part named Product list. We have only a Product Datalist web part. So could you please write me, what is displayed on the top of the pop-up window (in braces) when you open properties of your Product list web part:

Web part properties (******)

I'm sorry I did'nt notice that the web part name was there, so it's :

Web part properties (Datalist)

Here is a screenshoot, it might be easier for you.

Hello,

Have you filled that document type into the Document types property of that Datalist?

What do you have set in the Selected item transformation property? If there is something like this {%classname%}.default, please check, if your document type contain a default transformation.
