Page Permissions being ignored
Hi,

I need to make a page restricted to a certain user. The page has several MVT running on it and the client needs to see all options in a browser before they OK it (unfortunately screen grabs are not ok ). We would like them to be able to see the MVT drop downs like an admin would see without being able to get into the CMSDesk.

So I am trying to create a user with admin permissions on that page only, and locking it off using the security settings in kentico. However the page is displayed to anyone. Even when I set "public anonymous user" to deny all, not once does the login form show.

I have followed the instructions on this page:

http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/6_0/devguide/index.html?secured_web_site_areas.htm

In the site manager -> settings -> security & membership page, for the field "Check page permissions", i have tried both "All pages" and "secured areas".

Is there anything else I need to do ?

RE:Page Permissions being ignored
Hello.

There are two options. You can either set document-level permissions or secured web site areas. If a page protected by document-level permissions is accessed by someone without sufficient permissions, “Access denied” message is shown. If secured area is access, user must log in and they are automatically redirected to a logon page.

If you set document-level permissions according to our documentation and it still does not work, can you please check that you set “Check page permissions” to “All pages” for particular site, not globally only? There is a site selection on upper-left corner in Settings section, so you can verify this. Thank you.
