EventLog Auto Clearance Confusion
Hello,

In my E Commerce Site i have Put a code for Event Log which is working fine.But I can not see my Last 2-3 days Older Event Logs which are there on that same days but today i am not getting it.I think there may be a settings for Stop Event Log getting Auto Clear.Please Help me in this.

Hi,

Please go to Site Manager -> Settings -> <use global setting or switch to site level settings> -> System section and there is setting Event log size - increase its value please.

Thank You Ondrus for your quick response.Currently it is 1000. can you tell me if i change to 100000 will it be affect my site speed or something else.

Hi,

The size of the log will affect only the DB size you are using. What is affecting the performance is the logging action. So, you should consider if you want to log that many things - each log action is adding thisng to the DB which requires some resources.
