I noticed today that on a development site some images were missing from my media library. When I am in the cmsdesk interface and I open up the library it gives me a count based on the files in that particular directory (0). But according to the database there should be (3). Is there a way to see in one of the admin interfaces the integrity between what the database thinks should be there and what actually is present on disk?

I thought perhaps it could generate some kind of report - or at least warn me (somewhere) that files are missing. I understand that putting the assets directly on disk makes this a possible scenario, but I figure it would be nice to have the CMS let me know (if I ask) what's missing.
