Task interval for scheduled tasks

Hi,
we have some custom code which is scheduled for 1:00am every day. However the task to run takes lets say 5 minutes so it finishes at 1:05am. So the next run will start 1:05am the next day and so on. By some time we have the task starting at 6:00am.

We are trying to have some tasks to run at night when we know the site is not too busy etc.

Is there anyway to set this so it will always start at the time which was set to start originally?

Hi,

Currently, there is no way how to determine when the task will finish, therefore the next start date and time is set after it really ends. However, we are already aware of this problem and our developers are working on some improvements to the next version so the task will start always at the configured time.
