Confusion about Master Pages
Hello all,

So i understand that you would (ideally) create a template and use that for your master page.

However once you choose that, you can edit it in the CMS Desk under the Master Page tab, does this then make it have its own copy of the template? I find this kind of confusing for my end users. Shouldnt any changes you make in that tab be saved to the template as well?

RE:Confusion about Master Pages
Hello.

The data inserted on Master page tab are not saved in the physical template, as you can find in in the file system in your project folder. However, every template must be registered as an object (Page template) in our system, and this is what these data are bound to.

I am not quite sure if this is what you wanted to know. If not, can you clarify what exactly you mean? Thank you.

Best Regards,
Radek Macalik
