SmartSearch Results Document Content
I've got a page template with several Editable Text regions on it. When a page using this template appears in search it's choosing the wrong editable region to use as the body content.

Other page templates with similar layouts choose the right editable region.

How can I force the search results to show the proper summary?

RE:SmartSearch Results Document Content
Hi,

this seems to be incorrect Search field configuration. Please check configuration of document type which uses incorrect editable region for summary.

Then in the Search field tab of this document type you will find Content field: configuration. In the drop down list select the correct field.

Now you need to rebuild index in the Site Manager - Administration - Smart search.

The editable regions do not appear in the drop down list.

What i'm actually seeing is all of the editable region controls concatenated into the DocumentContent option.

RE:SmartSearch Results Document Content
Hi,

I discussed this with our developer and it is not possible to select the editable text web part which will be displayed in the result. I am sorry for inconvenience.

The search module simply takes the content of <content> area in document, i.e. it will take the first content region.

You can try to manually change the order of elements in the CMS_Document table.
