Application Error
hi there,

i am running Kentico 5.5 and was attempting to clone an existing instance of Kentico to a new site on the same server. I am new to Kentico so not really sure if there is a guide to do this(probably comes under restoring)
my environment is
IIS 6
SQL Express 2008
ASP .NET 2-3.5

so far i have.
restored DB to new Database
copied existing files.
replicated relevant settings to new site and application pool.

i have been able to login to site manager under new host, set relevant license key and domain aliases and site works.

my issue comes in when i attempt to update content on the site. I am able to add new articles but when i try and save anything the changes are not saved. There is no details on IIS or Application logs.

when i look at the Event log in Kentico i have Application_Error, when i try and view it it bombs out and creates more Application_Error entries.

After reviewing the CMS_EventLog i see similar to the below.

it seems to me i am missing something fundamental and would appreciate help.

Many thanks

Gavin
