This might not be the right forum but all the others didn't quite match either.

I have been asked to look into methods of content distribution to our mobile workforce. Some of them have apple phones/ipad and some have andriod devices, some have laptops. The most easyest format common between them (with quality apps) is webdav.

Is it possible to have documents that follow the work flow process (whether they are PDF/doc) saved in such a way that a webdav client on a device such as an Ipad can retrieve the latest published version?

Just to be clear, I dont want to use webdav for publishing, just an easy way to share the latest published content.
