how to find original install URL?
After I moved the web site to my local hard drive, I wanted to share it with my manager and tried to create a virtual directory in IIS. While experimenting, I changed the URL and now I can't remember the port number that was used for the original install.

Where can I find the port number for my installation?

Hi,

do you mean that http protocol is running on some different port than 80? Then you need to find this information on your server.

In case you run the site using Visual Studio, the port number is always different and you do not need to use the same one.

You can also run the site without any port. You just need to configure IIS correctly, then I Visual Studio. It is described here.
