SiteManger > Development > Blogs page is missing.
I recently setup a blog in Kentico 6, and the blog works fine, but when I use the site manager on the Development tab, I click on the Blogs tree item, the resulting page is a 404. Kentico is looking for the page /CMSSiteManager/development/news, which doesn't exist. I can't find it in any of my Kentico 5.x or 6 deployments. Where is this file, and how I can go about getting it loaded into Kentico so the Development > Blogs screen actually works?

Thanks,

Steve

RE:SiteManger > Development > Blogs page is missing.
Hi,

Have you installed the full installation or custom one? Moreover, there is no Blog node in default installation in Site manager -> Development section. Are you referring to the correct UI page? Haven't you meant the Development -> Document types section instead?

You can try to install a fresh instance and a sample Corporate site, where the Blogs section is properly configured.

As for the Categories - you can assign the categories on the Form tab (while creating the document) if you use Multiple categories selector form control in the document type form, as mentioned in the note in
DevGuide article on assigning categories

Zdenek
