hot fix sql files cumulative? v6
Hey,

We won't be able to run the KIM tool to upgrade the v6 install on a production environment. Therefore, we were going to run the SQL script(s) plus copy over the new source files from our development (and hot-fixed) instance. My question is: Can we just run the latest sql hot fix file, (e.g.Hotfix_60_33.sql) on the live server instead of running all previous sql script files on the production server to get the DB up to date? (We will back up the DB before we run the script!)

Thanks,
Yoav

Hi,

Yes, the SQL script is cumulative too. However, I would like to recommend to read the hotfix instructions and use the "manual" way - it will show you how to create a hotfix package ready to be deployed to a remote server.

Best regards,
