Preview URLs - Images in Widgets Broken
Our editors are using the preview URL functionality on the general tab of the properties for pages to send a preview to the end user to approve changes prior to publishing.

Unfortunately it seems that when an image is included in a widget area it does not work in preview. Images included in editable text webparts however do work.

If you check the source it appears Kentico is treating the images in widgets as internal links.

This makes it difficult for our end users to review image changes in widget areas.

I just realized I had posted this to the Kentico 7 area. This issue is occuring in Kentico 6 (v6.0.58 (SP1)‎). If someone could move the thread I would appreciate it.

Hello,

I've tried to reproduce this issue on my instance of Kentico 6, but unfortunately (or lucky?) it works just fine on my end.

What I did is: I added widget zone to my page, added an editable image to that zone, set the image from attachment or media library and it all works well in preview mode.

How are you displaying your images?

Could you try to use this method of adding image to widget zone and see if it helps?
