Regarding deletion of unwanted community pages

Hi,

We have developed a website in Kentico 6.0.4297 build and ultimate edition.
It has All a Community page that contains lots of sub pages. We are using the Blogs, Forums ,logon page,Members page from it. I want to delete the rest of the files but I do not know what will be the consequences of it.

What will happen if I delete Groups,Group pages and Examples and their subpages from my site? Is it safe to delete or I have to take any safety measures?

Hi Redek,

I want to delete the /Community/Groups and /Community/Group pages pages. but i saw that they have link in Site Manager->Support-->API Examples..

Is there any way that I can hide this API Examples option from there so that my site wont get any errors after deleting the files?

Please reply as it is urgent.

You can modify those examples in CMSAPIExamples folder right in the root of your web site. If you tell me what exact link you wish to remove, I can tell you what file exactly you need to modify. I want to delete all the pages under /Community/Groups and /Community/Group pages.

Those Include following pages.
/Community/Groups/Management
/Community/Groups/Media
/Community/Groups/Media List
/Community/Groups/Members
/Community/Groups/Profile
/Community/Groups/Access
/Community/Groups/Forums
/Community/Groups/Create
/Community/Groups/Template

If you do not use the Groups module anywhere on your site, everything should be OK. You can just delete the documents, test it for a while and if everything is OK, remove them from the recycle bin for ever. Best regards, Juraj Ondrus
