Hi,

I am using comment view web part of blog. I want to send an Email to administrator regarding moderation. How can I do it?

Actually I am facing the problem that moderators are not receiving email regarding the comment added. Do you have any idea that why the moderators are not receiveing emails?

Hello,

Could you please check these options?

In CMS Desk -> blog -> form tab, check that option Moderate comments is set and that Blog moderators contains at least one user, and doesn't contain Public Anonymous User. Make sure the selected moderator has valid email filled in his profile.

In Site Manager -> Administration -> E-Mail Queue doesn't contain undelivered emails.

Hi,

1. There is a valid user selected in Blog moderators and Moderate comments option is checked.
2. No emails are present in Email queue.
3. I have manually tested Send email from Site manager->Administration->Send email. An email is successfully received.

But still not getting why the emails are not being sent.

Please let me know if there is any other remedy for it.

Anxiously waiting for reply.

Also there is no any exception logged in Event Log.

Hello,


When you submit a new comment as Public User, does it show up in the Comments Waiting for Approval view, or is it immediately published?

CMS Desk -> Tools -> Blogs -> Comments -> Is approved : No

Can you verify the the moderator user has an email set in his profile?

CMS Dest -> Administration -> Users -> Edit

Finally it worked after manually adding from address to our no-reply email id in From field of Email template
