Regarding the Shopping Cart PAge

Hi all,

I want to know about how to set the shopping cart page, I have created new shopping cart page, but still when I click on the add to cart page it is redirecting to "/special page/ e-shop/shopping-cart.aspx" page. I want to redirect to new shopping cart page which is on another locationb, I am not able to set the shopping cart page from where we can set this..

Hi Sansugoi,

There is one related setting in Settings section of Kentico CMS/EMS where you can set path (URL) to your existing shopping cart page:
CMS Site Manager -> Settings -> Select your web site -> E-commerce -> Shopping cart URL

These settings are nicely described in the E-commerce Guide:

I have enterd the shopping cart page page url in "CMS Site Manager -> Settings -> Select your web site -> E-commerce -> Shopping cart URL" the page which I had created, but still it is redirecting to the specialpage/shopping-cart.aspx .. please guide me if there is some other setting available..

Hi,

do you use the Shopping cart item selector to add items to the shopping cart?

I have tested the setting and it works just fine. Can you test it in a different browser and double-check you have changed the site settings of the correct site in Site manager -> Settings? This is the setting how you specify the shopping cart page for Kentico controls such as the Shopping cart item selector.
