Change Portal template stylesheet
Is there a way to set the stylesheet that is used with a specific template? I just created a template that is completely different than the main site template (it's a redirect from a separate site, so it looks like that other site), but it is including the default Ecommerce stylesheet unless I change it in the properties tabe of the page that I add using that template. It would make more sense to me to just always use a certain stylesheet with that template but I can't find how to do that.

The template is a portal template that is set as a master page.

RE:Change Portal template stylesheet
On that specific page properties you'd need to uncheck the inherit stylesheet and I'd also guess you'd want to set the inherit content to Select inherited levels and leave all unchecked. This way it will not inherit anything from the current site. You'd also need to ensure the stylesheet you have created has the site you are working with assigned to it in the Site Manager.

Yes, I'm doing that already and it does work.

However, it separates the stylesheet from the master page that it is used for. Is there any way to assign that stylesheet to that master/template so that I wouldn't have to set the stylesheet for every page that uses that template?

RE:Change Portal template stylesheet
Well you could mark that page as a master page template in the template properties and set the stylesheet in the head and all the other pages to inherit that master page. Sounds like you want 2 sites within one maybe?
