Hi,

The steps are exactly the same, no matter where the web site is placed - local or server or where ever. You need to do the same steps. If your web site is on a shared hosting or the production server does not allow it, you need to download a copy of the live web site to your computer, install the module and then upload it back to the production/hosting server.
