Blank Password Warning for Domain Users
Hi,

In the user administration screen, domain users have the warning icon that says "The user hase a blank password. You should set some". As I understand it, domain users don't have a password in Kentico so this warning should not show up for Domain Users. It's confusing some of our administrators. They think they need to set a password. Can this warning be turned off for domain users?

RE:Blank Password Warning for Domain Users
Hi,

I am unable to reproduce the issue since when using AD authentication I am asked to add my AD password and this is then used. Have you set the password for your AD users?
How were the user accounts created?

Best regards,
Juraj Ondrus

RE:Blank Password Warning for Domain Users
I wasn't checking the "External User" option when creating AD users. That caused it. Is this new in V6? I don't remember having to do this in v5.

Hi,

No, this setting is there ever since and it is also mentioned in every version documentation :-)
