Hi,

I was wondering if I could change the text of the shoppingcart module? I use portal and aspx pages.

Hello.

Can you clarify what text in particular and where do you mean? Usually, these strings are stored in CMSResources/CMS.resx file, so you can look for it there and change it.

Yes, you can get the weight with:
CMS.Ecommerce ► ShoppingCartInfoProvider ► CalculateTotalItemsWeight(ShoppingCartInfo)
