Regional Content
Hi,

Our client operates in a number of regions, and wants to provide content that is national, and some content that is only available in certain regions.

We would ask customers to choose their region (they can change it at any time), and they would see the same website, but with content that is only available to their specific region.

For example, they may have New Zealand as a country, and users would be asked to choose to view content for the North Island or the South Island. If the user were to choose "South Island" they would see pages, links and news items for North Island and New Zealand. South Island content would be hidden.

Does Kentico support an option to create 'regions', so that the content administrator can choose which region Pages/Content is visible in via CMSDesk?

Thanks!

RE:Regional Content
Hello.

The most similar functionality provided out-of-the-box is multilingual content, as described in http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/multilingual_content_overview.htm

However, it is possible to have dynamically rendered content using proper web parts properties, like Visible, Display to roles, Where condition and so. It depends where the info about what region is currently valid is stored. Can you clarify this point, please? Thank you.
