Hide Document Type
i've created a few document types for a client. There are still the "out of the box" document types available such as Articles, Blog, etc. I don't want these available to the client (except for document types such as Page menu item, file and folder). But I don't want to delete them either from the document types section in site manager. Any way of doing this?

RE:Hide Document Type
Hello,

You can hide the document types, which you don't want to use by simply removing the site where they can be used in SiteManager / Document types / <select one> / Sites. Another way would be to use the Child types section in the same location. You can specify that under none of the allowed document types the user won't be able to add any of the mentioned document types. This might require more work than the first approach, however, it should work too.

Best regards,
Boris Pocatko

RE:Hide Document Type
Hi Boris,
I ended up going the child types route which worked exactly as I wanted. Thank you so much for you help and your time! Much appreciated!
