Multiple Media Libraries with different file contraints
Hi,

I'm new to Kentico so still learning the ropes.

I know it's possbile to create multiple media libraries via CMS Desk but from what I can gather they all share the same settings (allowed extensions etc) which are defined in Site Manager.

I was wondering if it was possible to create libraries, each with there own individual settings. For example : a document library that only allows .pdf, .doc files and an image library that only allows .jpg, .png etc.

Any help appreciated.

RE:Multiple Media Libraries with different file contraints
Hi,

Regrettably, this is not possible because allowed extensions cannot be defined individually for each site.

Best regards,

Thank you for the reply.

However, it's not per site it's per media library that 'm looking to do this for. There will only be 1 site.. with multiple libraries.

I guessing the answer will be the same though.. any other suggestions ?

Regards
Dave

RE:Multiple Media Libraries with different file contraints
Hi,

I am sorry. I made a mistake in my previous post. I wanted to write the allowed extensions cannot be defined individually for each media library. So, regrettably, you can set it only globally for a site. You can, however, suggest it as a future requirement: User voice.

Best regards,
