RE:Smart Search
Hello.

Could you please clarify what version of KCMS do you use and what web part in particular you want to use for this purpose? Is it some editable web part which content is managed on Page tab or the content is defined within web part property on Design tab? Thank you in advance for clarification.

Best Regards,
Radek Macalik

RE:Smart Search
Version 6.

Content that is defined within the web part properties. Like a repeater that shows a list of articles. Is it posible to get the page that has the articles on it to show in the search results. Often we use repeaters to show content that is only viewable on a page through a repeater and not the document itself.

RE:Smart Search
Hello.

For this purpose, I would recommend to use Index type: Document crawler. Documents crawler type indexes directly parse the HTML output generated by documents, which means that all text located on or associated with a document is searchable. This allows document content to be searched more accurately than using a Documents type index. However, building and updating a Documents crawler index may require more time and resources, particularly in the case of large indexes and complex documents.
