Domain/language correlation
Hello

We would like to always have one culture/language linked to one domain and vice versa.

I think this feature is supported in K7 but how do we go about it in K6?

Should we change Language selection web part so it always displays link to the domain instead of language parameter?
Do we programmatically redirect and change language according to the domain? How and where? (ie. "www.briskstep.si?lang=de-DE" -> should redirect to "www.briskstep.de").

Default cultures are already set for domain aliases, but we would like to avoid same content on different domains (and different content on same domains).

We have experience with .NET and C# but we're not much versed in Kentico yet, so any help would be appreciated.

Also, we could not find this specific information in forums.

RE:Domain/language correlation
Hello.

Could you please refer to this link and consult chapter called "Enforcing separate domains for languages?" Does it help you?

RE:Domain/language correlation
Hello.

Thank you, but as said in original post we're using K6.
We saw the link you provided before, but some of the settings in the documentation aren't available in version 6.

I think it'll have to be resolved programmatically, but we're not quite sure how to go about it.

RE:Domain/language correlation
Hello.

You are correct, sorry about that. This is available since KCMS 7.0. I believe that the upgrade procedure is simpler and faster that any customization and brings a lot of new features, including this one, out-of-the-box. Why don't you consider upgrade instead of customization?
