RE:Access Denid after migrate
Hi,

Could you please read this Knowledge base article http://devnet.kentico.com/Knowledge-Base/Upgrading/UI-Permission-issue-after-upgrading-to-version-6-0.aspx and follow the advice in this document. I would suggest you to check Content and My desk modules.

There is also forum thread was solved a similar problem http://devnet.kentico.com/Forums.aspx?forumid=61&threadid=24601

Best Regards,
Roman Konicek

RE:Access Denid after migrate
Hi,

If you look at that KB article there is image, which is very similar for version 5.5. On that image you can see tab called Sites, could you please check if modules (Content, CMS Desk, My Desk) are enabled for the appropriate site?

Best Regards,
Roman Konicek

RE:Access Denid after migrate
Hi,

Well that would be probably the problem, because there should be more modules. Could you please try to install the Corporate Site from Site Manager -> Sites -> New site wizard -> Use website template -> Corporate Site. This should add missing modules.

Best Regards,
Roman Konicek

RE:Access Denid after migrate
Hello,

Are you able to access CMS Site Manager > Licenses? If so, are there any valid licenses present? If not, they should be added before running the import. The Event Log may also reveal more details about the issue.
