Pages will not load in cmsdesk
I use a Mac, Firefox to do editing in cmsdesk. This past week, new pages I have created will not load as I refresh them after a save. It just sits there with a little "Read kenticodev.oldsecond.com" message at the bottom of the browser, and the progress bar stops at about 95% and never recovers.

What is the problem?

I do not have a problem loading the exact same dev site on IE on a PC.

RE:Pages will not load in cmsdesk
Hello.

What particular version of Kentico CMS do you use (including hotfix version) and in what browser (name + version) are you facing this problem? Thank you.

RE:Pages will not load in cmsdesk
Hello.

Your build number states that you are on the basic release of KCMS 5.5. In other words, no hotfix has been applied. Version of your browser is slightly higher that what is supported in KCMS 5.5 (Firefox 3.5 on Mac OS), but it should not be a problem. As a first step, I would recommend you to apply the latest hotfix for Kentico CMS 5.5 so we can be sure this is not some kind of fixed bug. Could you please apply it and update me? Thank you.

RE:Pages will not load in cmsdesk
Hello.

Hotfix is a file, containing fixed code, where previously was a bug. Basically, it contains updated files and SQL script. You can find hotfixes at http://devnet.kentico.com/Bugtracker/Hotfixes.aspx.

Please note, you need to apply hotfix according to version of your Kentico CMS and .NET Framework. Since the hotfixes are cumulative, you need to apply the latest version only.

Every single package contains instructions is the pdf file.

RE:Pages will not load in cmsdesk
Thank you but all of that was unintelligible to me. I am having trouble having a CMSdesk page load in Firefox on a Mac. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with the hotfix. It says stuff in the instructions like: "Run the SQL script on your database." What does that mean? What database? Or it says: "Copy & replace the files from CMS folder to your web project." What does that mean? I see the CMS folder. But what "web project"? Where am I copying this stuff?

The hotfix page did not help because I can't understand it in the least.

RE:Pages will not load in cmsdesk
Hello.

OK, I have installed brand new KCMS 5.5 with no hotfix applied, and tried to do some stuff on my Mac. I created few documents in CMSDesk and encountered no problem. I am using FF 3.6.

Can you elaborate particular steps I should take to reproduce the issue? Thank you.
