Pages not inheriting header and body from Master Page
After upgrading to v5.5 pages are not inheriting the values defined in the <head> and <body> sections of the Master page.

RE:Pages not inheriting header and body from Master Page
Hello.

Regrettably, this seems to be a bug in the current version. I'm very sorry for this inconvenience. We will try fix it in the nearest version and in the next hotfix package for this particular Kentico CMS version.

In the meantime, could you please check what value you have in NodeHeadTags field in CMS_Tree table in DB for appropriate documents documents? Could you please set null manually to these fields. It should ensure proper behavior then.

Best Regards,
Radek Macalik

RE:Pages not inheriting header and body from Master Page
Hi,

I had the same problem on a site we are just getting ready to launch. I've set those fields back to null and everything is working properly now.

Is this a bug in the upgrade or is it something in the version that will need to be corrected? I've only deployed to the dev server, so if it is a bug in the code I'll wait to update the live site until this is addressed by a hot fix.

Thanks,

Steve
