I noticed that the synchronization tasks are not automatically started. When I have start the tasks manually it works. How can we start the tasks automatically? We have set the CMSWebFarmUpdateWithinRequest setting to true. Thanks.

Hi,

Are there any errors logged next to the tasks? Or in Site Manager -> Administration -> Event log? If so, could you please send us these errors?

Which version of Kentico CMS are you using?

Are you able to access all web farm servers using http://server1/cmspages/webfarmupdater.aspx and vice versa (if the servers are able to see each other)?

Hmm, we are still having problems with webfarm synchronization. Most files are synchronized ok, but some are missing and some have a size of 0kb. So they are uploaded in the media library and have a normal size on the source server, but on the other webserver they have a size if 0 kb.

There are no errors in the eventlog and the webservers are able to reach eachother.

Ideas?

Hi,

Very strange, I have never encountered this behavior before.

Are there any failed tasks in Web farms -> Tasks section? Are there any errors logged with the tasks here?
Are there any logs in the Windows Event viewer on both machines?
How big are the files which are not synchronized correctly?
