Common WYSIWYG Toolbar in Blog Interface seems Buggy switching focus

When I switch focus between Blog Summary and Blog Post, there is some bugginess switching focus between the two textareas. Often if I try to bold up a word in the summary, the WYSIWYG focus is still on the summary. Or if I highlight text and go to insert a link, the modal link picker comes up, but assumes focus for the summary and not the body of the blog.

Hi,

Thank you for reporting.

Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce this issue.

Could you please provide exact steps to follow? Some screenshot would be really useful in this case.

In the Form tab of blog post I highlighted one word in the Post summary field and set it to bold. But I was not sure how should I continue.

What version of CMS are you using? Have you applied any hotfix?

I was having this same issue for the past few months.

It seems to be browser related from what I can see. I was using Google Chrome 8.0.552.224 and got this same problem. I switched to IE8, not in compatibility mode, and everything began to work normally.

All of my websites are also running Version: 5.5 Build: 5.5.3999.

Here's the problem I have with this ... I can reproduce the bug on virtually any browser that runs on a Mac - pick one. For the rest of us that *don't* bow before the world's most popular browser in all of its non-standards compliance glory -- are we being told that Kentico uses IE as the only benchmark for testing and bug validation?

Hello.

Kentico is tested for following browsers, not IE on Windows platform only: http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/system_requirements.htm.

I tried to reproduce this issue on Kentico CMS 5.5R2 + Mac + the latest FF, but with no success. I would like to ask you for the same as my co-worker did. Could you please send us some screenshots showing this behavior (to support@kentico.com), or provide exact steps how to reproduce it? Thank you.
