[5.5] Can't delete custom fields from document type
When I try to delete a custom field from some of my document types I get this error:

TemplateDesigner.ErrorCannotDeleteAllCustomFields

I get this error even when there are other custom fields besides the one I'm trying to delete.

RE:[5.5] Can't delete custom fields from document type
Hello,

Regrettably, this is a bug in the current version of Kentico. It will be fixed in the next hotfix package which will be released the next week.

Best regards,

RE:[5.5] Can't delete custom fields from document type
Hi,

I still get this error when trying to delete a custom field from a document type

"You cannot delete all custom fields from document type."

I'm using v5.5.3996 R2

is this still not fixed?

RE:[5.5] Can't delete custom fields from document type
Hi,

Well, the bug was that there was no nice message displayed, only the default .net error page. This has been fixed.

The error message appearance itself is a correct behavior, since already created document types, that are not containers (like is a CMS.Folder) doesn't allow you to remove all their fields.
If you want to have a document type without custom fields, please create new document type and select "The document type is only a container without custom fields" in Step 2. This behavior will be identical in the upcoming 6.0 version as well.

Regards,
Zdenek C.
