Sewell says VFL is no place for Rioli Hawthorn veteran Brad Sewell wants Cyril Rioli to be rushed back for Saturday's blockbuster clash with Geelong at Cheap Nike Free 3.0 MCG.Rioli hasn't featured for the Hawks since he injured his hamstring against North Melbourne in Round 5, with the 23-year-old taking longer than expected to recover from the ailment.Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson said he was yet to make a decision on whether Rioli would line-up at senior level or in the VFL, but Sewell made his intentions clear what option New Balance 557 would prefer when asked on Monday."I've got no idea what the coaches are thinking, but I'd be very surprised if they decided to play him through the VFL," Sewell said."He's been training really, really well, so he'll be a nice inclusion for us."Sewell downplayed the Cats recent dominance of the match-up, with the Hawks having failed to taste success over their rivals since their premiership triumph in 2008.The flag favourites have lost 10 consecutive matches since that day on the final Saturday in September five years ago, but Sewell is not too concerned by the New Balance 557 streak."If we don't end it this week, then we'll end it the next time we play them," Sewell said."So from our point of view, we'll go out there to win, but both sides will recognise that their eyes are set a little bit further."Eight of the Hawks' 10 losses to the Cats during their recent run have been less than points with the average losing margin just 8.6 points and Sewell is expecting another tight match on Saturday night between the two premiership fancies."This is certainly one that both sides no doubt look forward as they are cracking games," he said."It almost feels like a final, but it's not."We relish these types of games.
