Member	jdhenty - 7/22/2010 11:25:16 AM Database Upgrade 5.0 to 5.5 with MS SQL 2008 Express How does one run the Update_5_0_to_5_5.sql file when using SQL Express? The Management Studio 2008 Express does not seem to run .SQL files.

It does not depend on SQL server´s edition, you can run this query on your SQL Server Express edition with no problem or limitation. Member	jdhenty - 7/26/2010 9:13:12 AM RE:Database Upgrade 5.0 to 5.5 with MS SQL 2008 Express Thanks for your help. I have made it work, but had to do so using sqlcmd (command line). The Management Studio Express I have loaded would allow me to do the update if I were using MS SQL Express 2005, but I have 2008. Not a problem, I figured it out and everything works fine.
