Exception upgrading from 5.0 to 5.5 during import of the upgrade_50_55.zip package
We have an existing Kentico 5.0 installation, and we did the update to Kentico 5.5

Everything went well, except the last part where the system tried to import the package in ~/CMSSiteUtils/Import/upgrade_50_55.zip

In the log I have the messages that I posted below. What is strange is that they indicate that the system was trying to upgrade from 4.1 to 5.0, but the installed version was 5.0!

I have tried to manually import the package, but I always get an exception "Illegal characters in path".

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, did you find a way to finish the upgrade (import the last package).

Thanks for reading!

RE:Exception upgrading from 5.0 to 5.5 during import of the upgrade_50_55.zip package
Hi,

I will post it here just for other users reference.

The problem with the illegal characters in path was caused by wrong "Files folder" setting in Site Manager -> Settings -> Files. This setting contained not allowed characters.

We will add some validation for the settings inputs in the future versions.

Best regards,
