Scrolling news
I am unable to get my news to scroll. I am new at this but my site is coming along great. I have applied the widget to the lower right of the page and the words apply but they don't scroll. I'm sure I'll have more questions.

RE:Scrolling news
Hello.

I am not aware of Scrolling news widget. I suppose we have “Latest news” widget only, not Scrolling news. Can you clarify this, please? Did you create a new widget from “Scrolling news” web part, or are you trying to force “Latest news” widget to scroll? Thank you in advance for explanation.

Best Regards,

RE:Scrolling news
If you go to widgets - community- there is a "scrolling news" on the bottom of the widget page. It does not say "latest" is says scrolling. I would be under the impression that if you added information on a daily basis it would "scroll" inside the widget box. There was something like that on the corporate site default home page but I seem to have deleted it. Thanks for all of your help.

RE:Scrolling news
Hello.

Thank you for clarification. What are values of "Scroll move time" and "Scroll stop time" properties, please? It is possible that if there are some large numbers, it last very long to scroll to another item. Also - do you have any JavaScript error on that page? E.g. , when you open it in IE8, can you see yellow error triangle in lower-left corner of your screen? Thank you.

RE:Scrolling news
I have typed a small message in the "no record found text" box. Width 400 height 300,scroll time 100 ms, stop time 300ms, direction Up->down, widget container black box, container title "in the news". It appears on the landing page but does not move, there are no Java script errors. What was the default scrolling widget on the default corporate site? That worked when I started the site but somehow I deleted it. Thanks for all of your help. I am not a programmer and appreciated what you do.

RE:Scrolling news
Hello.

Default "Scrolling news" widget is based on "Scrolling text" web part. If you deleted it accidentally, I can export you this widget from default installation and send it to you by e-mail. In order to this, please send a message to support@kentico.com and refer to this forum post. Thank you.

RE:Scrolling news
Hello,

We have added Scrolling news web part to our website but it's showing one by one news in Scrolling news web part. My Question is, Is there any way through which we can show the 2-3 news text with more option in scrolling news web part?

Thanks in advance :-)

RE:Scrolling news
Hello,

There has been similar question asked recently. Unfortunately this behavior is not possible by default, but it should be achievable through customization. You can find more information in this thread.
