Creating Custom designed pager for lightbox

Hi all ,

Im having a client request for a custom pager that looks like this

< Image1 image2 >

instead of today regular :

Image1 Image2
<< < 1 - 2 > >>

What will be the easiest approach ?
I don't have problems with coding or scripting I just don't want to get lost.

CMS 5
Server editon - Mixed mode.

This is somthing like the moving boxes but much simpler.

the unipager is not good for me as again there is a pager under the lightbox

what im looking for is a container that can be described as 4 cells table
1st cell contains "<"
2nd and 3rd cell contains "image thumbnail"
4th cell contains ">"

the "<>" signs / links are centered to the images not under or on top.
it is also the image of the shape "<" not the keybord sign.

Hello,

have you tried the Universal pager web part? It is a portal engine equivalent of the UniPager control and you can find it in Listings and viewers -> Universal Pager.

You can set up all the navigation parts as you need. You can leave transformation of this pager blank, if you do not want to display them. You can find a working sample on the Corporate site: /Examples/Web parts/Data sources/Data source with datalist .

I didn't manage to get what i wanted or even to make this work.

im attaching an image of the final requested result asked by the client, can you take look and see if this possible or i need to create a new web control.

Hi Tamir,

you can place the items of UniPager anywhere using CSS styles. I am not sure what web part you use to display the images but using CSS positioning you can place the Prev and Next signs anywhere. Of course, you can also develop a custom web part and make the table layout as you need.
