Changing doctype (DTD) in the portal engine.
I have been trying to figure out if there is any way to change the default document type declaration in the Master Page in the Portal Engine. Does anyone know if and where this can be accomplished?
Thanks.

RE:Changing doctype (DTD) in the portal engine.
Hi,

if you mean the root document type so there is a CMS.Root document type in the Site Manager - Development - Document types.

If you would like to change default portal engine master page, there is one physical page used as "master template" for portal engine pages, which is ~/CMSPages/PortalTemplate.aspx.

Could you please tell us what exactly would you like to change?

Best regards,

Hi Les,
I hope your asking about <%=Doctype%>. if so, Please check this URLs
http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/5_5r2/devguide/index.html?editing_the_master_page.htm (Portal page) and

http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/5_5r2/devguide/index.html?using_the_master_pages.htm (Aspx page)

They did not given much information about Doctype in ASPX template, where we can edit that default value!

Thanks,
Naga Harish.
