Best way to structure a site
We are working on a new site that is a client portal. Each client could have different types of users but primarily an administrator and basic users.

We need to show content specific to each client and there will be about 200 client companies on the site. The client administrators will not need to be able to edit content as most content is going to be pulled from a data warehouse associated with the particular client. The administrator may add some documents in a document sharing section but not in other places.

Some parts of the site will be generic content but other parts will be information for the clients eyes only and no mixing of that content with other clients.

We are looking at roles and departments to handle this but it would be great to hear from someone who has built something similar. We know that getting the structure right in the beginning will make a big difference down the road.

Thanks for any ideas or advice on this.

RE:Best way to structure a site
Hi,

You are right, the site structure is very important in this case so it will be easy to setup all the permissions and security you need.

I would also recommend reading our methodology before you start - you might find many useful information there.

But, for this particular question you can contact some of our partners in your area or use our consulting services since it is very custom requirement and more details are needed to give you exact answer for your specific environment.

Best regards,
