301 redirect to alias
We originally purchased and built our site on a .net domain.

We have now purchased the .com and have done the necessary in Google to notify a change of address.

However, I need to place 301 redirects on every one of our .net pages (Where the main licence is) and redirect them to the.com (Currently set up as an alias).

All help appreciated :)

Michael.

RE:301 redirect to alias
Hello,

This is probably a question for the IIS forum, but I have found an article, which describes, how to set permanent 301 redirect on your IIS server including subfolders and query strings, so all URLs will be pointing to the same locations except the .net/.com domain:

http://www.developerfusion.com/code/4678/permanent-301-redirect-with-querystring-in-iis/

Best regards,
Jan Hermann
